Thru-Bolts on Deck Hardware???

Hello all,

I have a 98 Hunter 45CC and I need to reseal some of the deck hardware. My question; do the deck handrails, hatches and such have thru-bolts with washers and nuts on the interior? If so, how does one access the washers and nuts that are hidden by the hard headliner? Any help would be great or if you could point me to an existing thread.

They "should" As for access the hatches should have trim pieces that allow access. The handrails probably don't, on my 40.5 they are just screwed in. You get access to the screw head by taking out the sanded flat with the surface wood plug that covers the hole the screw is in. Drill a small hole in the plug and pull it out. Requires a new plug when you reinstall.
