i have a beneteau 321 when i push the throttle foward it springs back, if i push it to 2900 rpm it will move back to 2400rpm when i release the pressure ? can any help ??

Take the cover off the engine control in
the cockpit and look for a friction adjustment screw. The return spring on most engines will return to idle in the absence of the throttle control. But inspect the full run of control cable you really shouldn't feel a spring resistance like the pedal on your car.

I have the same problem on my Beneteau 323 and its annoying. I just wondered if anybody at Beneteau had any input. I have not contacted them, but its on my to do list.

It's not Beneteau, it's the maker of the wheel
assembly, like Edson or Whitlock. Go to their websites, or look in your onboard manuals, and find the friction adjustment screw that Ross mentioned.
