I just purchased a 1994 hunter 29.5. When I shift into reverse the leaver interferes with the wheel it hits the spokes even at a slight idle, if I need more throttle you can't steer. Is there some type of adjustment?

Thanks

Probably you need to adjust your lever position. The neutral should be "3 oclock". It is quite easy, just take a look at the lever end-shaft side.

I went to take pictures of my throttle control but due to heavy rains I wasn't able to do so. Right now neutral is at the 12 o'clock position, reverse comes back to 9 o'clock and interferes with the spokes in the wheel when I try to turn. I took a quick look and did not see a way to adjust it. How is this done. Thanks for any advise.

On my friend's 1997 H280, the throttle neutral is at 3 o'clock position. 12 is full astern and 6 is WOT forward. I suppose the PO adjusted the throttle to 12 o'clock for easier handling of the lever.
