Thanks to Craig S. for your invaluable info on rudder play and adjustment! My throttle control tends to "slip" back and will not stay at higher throttle. Anyone with suggestions on where/what to adjust/tighten to eliminate this slippage? Current throttle control will stay at about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, but if higher rpm sustained is desired, it slides back gradually. I've been using a tension bungee to help hold in position.

Rick: I believe that you have a Y/S Merriman wheel. There is a nylon set screw under the compass on the throttle cable. This usually works for a while and then needs to be reset. The set screw can be replaced with a part from your local hardware store. Another option is to just get a clamp for the cable. Easy to install and you apply just enough tension to keep it from slipping. http://www.sailboatowners.com/upload/display.tpl?folder=Dion73064768600&fno=17
