the throttle cable on my 1983 H34 snapped at the point where the cable slides inside a collar with a crimped fitting. This occurred on the pedestal end of the cable, which is much harder to reach. My question is do I have to replace the entire cable including the plastic sheath that the cable slides through, or can I just replace the actual cable, or find a way to re-crimp the cable inside a new fitting.I think the process of replacing the entire cable including the plastic sheath will be a royal pain, especially the end that goes up the pedestal and somehow attaches to something I can not see down there.Any experiences would be appreciated.Bob Cunnningham
