I'm about to replace the throttle cable. Does anyone know the lenght and type of cable? Type of ends? Can I use a standard Tele-Flex cable? Any procedural suggestions? Thanks! Jack

I had a throttle cable break and removed it to measure the length for replacement. I believe it was 16 feet, but that is by memory. I continued to use the throttle during this period and ended up bending the end of it since the clip in the pedestal secures both of them and with one missing it could not support the other. Anyway, I am amazed at how easily both levers now move with the new cables. I will look for documentation to see if I can verify the length, but don't expect to find it. I will be at the boat this weekend. I ordered mine from my edson catalog based on the one I removed. Todd.
