Thoughts on gimbaled stoves

Yeah- and this was off Cumberland Island in Florida, and was the G D-n'd Ferry driver. Went right between me and a friend on his boat. He grabbed his pot of food and held it up. I got on the radio and explained to the world what an idiot the ferry captain was.

OH, and to better pain t pic, I was aboard a 35 foot Cross trimaran when it happened. THAT'S how huge the wake was.

I like having a gimbaled propane stove/oven in my O'Day 322. Had a 2-burner alcohol stove on my old boat. It was OK, but baking a pizza or warming up beef sandwiches on a cold day is great. I would not use the stove burners unless I was on a multi-day voyage (which I don't really do), but I have used the oven to warm things while under way.

Might not fit in your boat, but works well in my 32-footer.
