This might sound like the dumbest question thus far

Wife and I are planing on taking a ride to take a look at a 41ft Hunter. It sounds like it has all the bells and whistles.

It even has a Generator - Northern Lights, 6KW. When running the generator does it pull diesel fuel from the main tank or does it have it's separate tank?
If you are anchored out and you wanted to run your a/c will this run the a/c? Or do you have to have your engine idled?

It's suppose to have radar but on this particular boat I didn't notice the saucer disc mounted is this normal? This is the version, Raymarine C80 Chartplotter & 24 NM Radar.

Happy sailing everyone and as always thank you!

Generator usually pulls off main tank but has a separate pick-up inside that is a couple of inches higher off the bottom than the one for the engine; that way the gen won't leave you with no engine for moving in the event the tank gets low. Yes, it will run the air conditioner.. don't know about the radar unit. Good luck on the trip.

You should see the radome mounted on the mast. There are alternative mounting options but they are "Look up at" options. It would not be hidden somewhere in the cabin.

My 4kw genset in my motorhome powered my overhead AC and microwave at the same time so I'm thinking your good with 6kw.
