Second that!

Thanks for the post R.W. Our little coffee group actually remembered the time, 0755, for a moment of silence and reflection. Two of us are ex-Navy. Only the other guy was old enough to be in the Pacific theater.

Yes Terry,

that it does, Gold Beach, raining today but had the Mac26X out in the Bay and Rogue today, putting some time on the new 2006 Honda 50, must have looked like a "Northeaster" with all the foulies on. Paradise is still there, we kayak down for Lobster Creek sometimes, but River running high right now, over 17 inches of Precip in Nov.. My better half almost took a travel Nurse job in Port Townsend last summer wanted to trailer the Mac up for the 13 week assignment. Ended up at Lake Almanor, CA. Friends just moved and brought their 50 ft Sailboat up to Blaine from Brookings.

My Dad

My Dad had been transferred off the USS Oklahoma late November 1941 because my sister was going to be born. My Uncle was on the beach attending mass. I need to ask him what unit he was with. To all verterns - you are remembered. Jim S/V Java

Speaking of forgetting,

The History Channel! Every year on 12-7 I look forward to something from them about the attack. This year I couldn't find a thing. I had to go to the Military Channel. Lots of stuff there. It was fresh too. New info.
