At anchor I use a boom tent made from that stuff they use in the garden shop.
It is green and almost tranparant to the wind and it blocks about 50% of the sun and you can see through it.
It hangs over the life lines and the pop top and drapes over the transom.
The wind does not rattle it or even move it.

Not sure if you want to see how it is mounted or what the material looks like or both but I'll bet it is about the same product that you see being put on the boats in the yards in Florida that is a tan. People use them at their houses also as sun covers. We bought some home to use on the patio as it seems the tan is easier to find in Florida,
