You should be able to do just what you said, put your house batt's in parallel and add the start batt..? if you have room/ and a battery switch so you can charge both banks when you want and disconnect the bank you wish to save to start with. I think all you need to do it would be the jumpers for putting the house in parallel.. Food for thought, you can leave the leads from your switch as is and just move one of the house batt's to where you want, put your start batt in it's place and then all u will have to make is one set of jumpers. If yours is like mine the switch is a long way from the batt's and a lot more work to remove and rewire it.. Mike
