Slow Poke..that's no joke..

Hi New folding prop was put on last year. The bottom, we sand real smooth and apply VC17 with a final burnish. However, our sails are not those high tech ones. We have a 155 Genoa and a main (fairly new)made from a basic Dacron. On our 36' Hunter we all have a great time but were wondering if spending money on better sails can improve our times. We have a great crew and they all know their jobs. Our downwind gybes around the marks are real smooth...but there is the question of sails. comments

Are You Winning

If you are winning there is no problem if not, you must have them. Look and see what the winning boats have. The problem is that you might start a arms war. Wining boats will be forced to go to the newest best sail available. Before dropping a bundle do some research and make sure into your boat. Handy caps favor some kill others. You may want to consider a boat with a favorable handy cap. Like I said a arms war.

Nuclear Sails

Cheap sails come from Nuclear Sails (Florida) What about these sails as a weapon in the arms race?

Between the Ears

Pokey- You can have all the right equipment, but one bad tach wipes it out. If you are good the right sails will make a difference.
