I put the hose connection spout on the tank and out of curiosity looked inside. There is only about an 1/8" to 1/4" of clearance from the extraction tube to the bottom of the tank. I understand this is good for emptying the contents. However, if there is solid waste in the tank I am skeptical of its ability to be pumped out because of its, lets say tight tolerances.

What are you experiences?

It's not a problem...

Solid waste is 75% water and dissolves in water very quickly..plus pumpout suction will break it up. So the only thing you need to worry about are wet wipes, tampons and anything else that a guest shouldn't have flushed. But even if that happens, the good news is, they're a LOT easier to remove than they are from a conventional holding tank.

Trust

I figure there would be someone to speak up if there was a problem.

Thanks.

Seth is there a reason you went with the 365 vs the 465 model?

batteries

I just have to charge and replace batteries all of the time. It was just one less thing to not have to worry about. It never fails, the second day of a five or six day trip and something quits. This should not be one of them.

My slightly used Jabsco compact gave out like clockwork and is now in my garage. I am hoping the simplicity of the 365msd will keep me from having to be face to face with a toilet when I am trying to relax on my boat.

I have changed and rebuilt everything on my O'Day 25. I am getting into the second round of changes now and I am way passed being tired of working on my boat.
