We just bought a 2002 310 Catalina with a Adler/Barbour Fridge. The thermostat is stuck and will not turn in any direction. The knob is stripped. I applied some WD40 it is not coming loose. Anybody knows what to do?
Don't give up on the WD40. Although it's amazing stuff, sometimes it takes a while to work its way through a thick coat of corrosion. If you keep soaking the shaft, it will eventually loosen up. I'm patient, it has never let me down and has always been the least expensive alternative.
