Has anyone had experience with installing Thermoelectric cooling in your ice box such as made by Askeland, inc. If you did how has it worked out ?

Fred: All refridgeration consumes more power than is readily available on a sailboat. Of course we can just add larger battery banks (usually 1+ batteries per 24 hours period on a typical installation). These thermoelectric units are even MORE power hungry. Practical Sailor did an article on these units within the last year or two. As I remember they said that they consumed more power than the published amount.
