Should have know better but --- I was sailing the other day and against my better judgement, had the forward hatch open a little. I Had an accidental gybe and the jib sheets grabbed the forward hatch and now the lens is cracked. A few phone calls and I find out this is a Hunter furnished part to the tune of $180+. Does anyone have an alternate source for these covers. They are curved which makes it a little tough to buy some Lexan and fabricate a new one.

Same thing here, but cheaper

I also caught a jib sheet under the forward hatch on my '94 H26. Cracked it good, but it is still operable. Called Hunter and was given a price of $119.34. Not sure if the difference in $$ is due to model year, but you might want to ask again. Since mine is still functional, I'm deferring replacement until winter.

Try This

You might try a place Tap Plastic and they may be able bend the plastic for you. You might be able to take hot water to make the bend you want. Go for it.
