lol- in 2015 I sailed single hand from Port Lavaca, Tex to Pensacola Fla for an event called the BEER Cruise. Took three months round trip. Bought a Tee shirt which I tell folks it's my $1500 shirt

I was there at the 2015 B.E.E.R. cruise. My wife broke her ankle jumping off into shallow water at Perdido Key ... so our price tag was even higher than yours. Plus I got no T shirt, and we had to leave early. Sacred Heart Hospital in P-Cola made some money off us though.
