The Shoal vs. the full keel

I'm looking at two different 27 foot Hunter Legends. One with the full keel (approx. 6 ft.) and the other with the shoal or four foot keel. HOw dramatic is the difference going to be in Blue water or even snippy stuff inside.???

...with a six-foot keel, and shouldn't run into too much trouble (literally) from the Sound.

Unless you're planning to be in shallow areas, I'd choose the full keel. Boat is more stable and will point higher.
