One of the original SS Minnows was bought by 2 men in BC and had restored. They are now offering "3 hour tours" in the Vancouver Island region.

I thought it was cool. Hoe neat would it be to go for a cruise on the SS Minnow, even for 3 hours. ;)

I know what girls in bikinis look like, but I have never seen a drink in a bikini. Hmmm...

This question has been asked before, but I bring it up again.

How is it that the Gilligan's Island castaways could build a short-wave radio out of coconuts, but couldn't fix a hole in a boat?

Im with you......

Evenkeel. The proffesor could buid radios and other high tech gadgets but couldn't make a nail that would work.
And my one vote goes to Maryanne!

Materials

The Minnow was ferro-cement. The Professor had just accidentally stumbled on a formula of mixing sand with coconut milk and pulp, which could be used to repair the boat, but when he went out to collect more materials to try to replicate this success, Gilligan came along, ate the original formula, and knocked the Professor's notes into the bowl of coconut milk, making them completely illegible. The Professor was never able to replicate the mixture.

What, did you miss that episode?
