And here, a few of the (almost) after pics

The 4JHE is covered in little formed coolant hoses. Eight or ten I think. Most of mine were leaking. Yanmar thinks alot of those dang things.

I moved the strainer, filter and coolant tank in the back where none would be dripping on a very expensive starter, like before.

I spent alot of time rebundling, rerouting and labeling several wire harnesses.

Looks awesome Rick! What is the brass fitting in the PCV line? Is that a oil trap? I'm with you on all those little formed hoses they are a PITA!!;)

Nice job on the AWAB's.. In the alternator photo it looks as if you may have a loose bolt under the exhaust manifold right above the starter solenoid and next to the hose clamp? It's Probably just he way the photo looks in the photo but I think I see threads??

Good catch MS... Definitely looks like threads to me as well. If it isn't loose then the bolt is too long.

MS, you are good

The exposed bolt secures the coolant tube. I had hand threaded it while I was finishing the formed hoses on either end and I didn't come back to tighten it.

The fixture you asked about is actually copper, I just painted some gloss white on the body just to dress it up a bit. It houses a pencil zinc for the engine and connects in the raw water intake. There's a wire that connects the fixture to the engine block. Oddly, my Yanmar has NO zincs anywhere in the engine so that one is pretty important.

Oops

MaineSail, I thought you were asking about zinc housing, my mistake.

The brass fitting in the PCV line is just a couple of barbed reducers. The barb on the valve cover breather is a different size than the intake barb on the air intake housing.
