Well it has been a very tough road after my divorce and I closed on the sale of "The Odyssey" The 1999 H310 that I bought new. I tried very hard to keep her but she was just too much for my wallet and she had to be sold. Therefore, I must say good good bye to all of you. You all have been great people and my friends and I will miss you all. The new owners name is Dave Henrikson and he will soon be a regular on this site. Please welcome him and help him out with his questions as he is new to sailing. To Phil and the gang, keep up the good work and thanks for all you have done. On a brighter note, I did close on a 1977 Pearson 323 this past Thursday. She is in very good shape and sails very well but a little slow. I hope to take her down to the islands within 5 years and cruse/live aboard. Hey Phil, how's that Pearson site comming along? I will be checking in with HOW from time to time, answer any questions the you may have and just to say "Hi". Take care you all and fair winds to yah. Steve s/v ??? (Pearson 323)

What a sad day

Very sorry to hear that your boat sold, even if it is for the better. We'll miss you here Steve, but maybe we can talk someday soon about being a moderator on that Pearson site! best of luck to you and enjoy that new boat!

Thanks Phil

I am not all that sad about selling the boat. I knew it had to be done. As I said, the Pearson 323 is a fine boat and I am already becomming attached to it. I would love to moderate the Pearson site, just let me know when Thanks again Phil..

What makes you think you have to leave...

just 'cuz you no longer own a Hunter? You're still a sailor, you'll still own a sailboat.. There are lots of things to talk about that aren't "Hunter specific"...but you've owned a Hunter and still answer many questions about Hunters too. There's no rule that says you can only participate if you're a Hunter owner (if there were, I wouldn't be here)...and none of the Pearson discussion groups are mutually exclusive either. So stick around...you're not only still welcome, but I'm sure you still have plenty to contribute.
