Sorry... no sailing photos...
Most of you know I pull my kayak around on a painter line behind Bella Barchetta...
Well, we had some amazing weather last week before this bitter cold snap!

It's nice when I can wheel my kayak down to the marine preserve, two blocks from my home...
And just paddle right out into the open Pacific!! What a gift.

We paddled from the preserve in Moss Beach up to Montara, the next little village north...

Sweet Marzi drawing on our Treasure beach, you can see how calm it is out there...

A small natural bridge near Montara...

A cute selfie by Marzi...

Clear waters...

Small treasures on the beach...

...having said all that, it's about 35°F this morning.
That's about as much "winter" as this California kid can handle!

No sailing photo's :-( But you had to remind those of us with boats covered with snow about a California winter. Throw in a few teaser photos of your deck ornament . Life is good for a copter pilot in California .....

I knew the snow level got pretty low this last storm, not surprising!
What altitude are you at?...I know the airport's about 3000' or so?

Boat camping works nice there BUT the irrigation district prohibits overnight stays on your boat. So we all buy our fishing licenses and put a line in the water, no bait required. Then we can stay out all night "fishing"

Put some bait on the hook, and you may get breakfast :)
