The paint matches great, you can see where I have raised the deck at the attachment for the pulpit, mast and chainplates. That is turning out pretty good so far. I didn't realize the color, interlux brightside grand banks beige, would match so well to the oday non skid. I am really pleased with that.
Also, I was able to finally make a template for the forward bulkheads. The old ones were rotted and not useful. I was able to use the bulkheads I messed up as close fits, then kept trimiing them down by the scribing technique and now have a template. Tomorrow I am going to cut those out and finish them correctly this time. Then I will have all bulkheads and all deck repair complete, with the exception of some painting.

When I was preping to install the ports, this is what the chemical array looked like. I thought it was a pretty impressive mix.

The Ugly:cussing::
I wanted to through bolt my ports, after very careful prep of the ports, and the site, i applied the butyl , then when i went to put everthing together, i noticed that inside, the bolts came through where the rubber gasket groove for the window is. No way to make the window close with the bolts sticking through. I didn't think about that. now the ports are ruined. That is what the port looks like after i pry it back off. I was really dissapointed. Not to mention that now I have to buy new ports.
