Forget hopping robins or blooming tulips-for me the first sign of spring is when my first shipment of boat parts arrive and yesterday I got my replacement light fixtures from the fine folks at Hunter Marine. Can launch day be far off??

Unfortunately any sign of spring that may have made it's appearance to me was quickly forgotten as i was shoveling the 12" of snow in my driveway yesterday. Therefore I have been relegated to living vicariously through all of you!

Hate to gloat, but tomorrow in NW Arkansas is predicted to be 67* with winds 5 to 10.
Plan to be at the lake before 10:00 and not back until dark! FUNFUNFUN may even fly the drifter for a litttle while.

There was a thread on the 14th in which Sumner posted his satisfaction with http://www.solarblvd.com/Solar-Panel...duct_info.html . Mccauley seconded his satisfaction. I looked over the Solarblvd and other sites and ended up back at SB. I figure if the panels could survive the road travel on a trailer, they should be robust enough for use on the boat.The specs looked good and the sale price brought the whole system down to a price ($600-ish) I could afford. I'll mount the panels on the bimini.

The post office delivered the controller and display on Friday, and though they and UPS could deliver on Friday through the 5 inches of snow from Wednesday night, FedEx couldn't make it. Their web says the panels are on the truck for next business day delivery, but I don't know if that means Saturday or Monday?
