My 1992 35.5 is fitted on the interior in a light color [almost pecan color] wood. It is not dark like teak nor does the grain of the wood appear to be the same as teak. I like the light color and was wondering what the wood happens to be. One explanation I heard from another Hunter owner is that in the early 1990s it was difficult getting good teak so Hunter substituted with a different species of wood altogether and offered it as an option . .another piece of scuttlebut is that the wood is called "rum rum" from Costa Rica.Does anyone know the truth and what kind of wood this is.Fred MS/V M Squared
