Everyone said to build the boat I really want so here she is. Its an Iain Oughtred design known as the J II or according to the designer (spoke with him on the phone in Scotland, a really nice guy) she has been renamed the "Arctic Tern" 18'2" Long and 5+ feet beam with what they call a Gunter Sloop rig. I sent my check in for the plans and his book, so I'll keep everyone informed of my progress. Glad I didn't listen to the voice in the back of my head that kept saying "are you nuts" Wish me luck; I think I am going to need it. Russell
