Anchored up in Big Lagoon at Pensacola, and there is some event going on this afternoon. There are over 50 sailboats in here, and quite a few power boats. Wind is blowing from the west pretty good, and a fair chop on the bay. Watching some try to anchor up is a genuine hoot. Watched one guy try and try and try. Think he ended up losing the anchor, his wife probably got tired of his yelling, and he just packed it up and went on home. Tow boats was out cruising for business. Seemed mostly the idiots were on the smaller/junkier boats, but watched an Island Packet give it up too and leave. Had several boats go by sideways, dragging as they went. Went to the beach this morning before the crowds arrived, and wanted to go back this afternoon, but was afraid to leave the boat. If it got smacked, I at least wanted to be here to see it happen,
