In an earlier post, a gentleman from England brought up the subject of a "bilge keel", which I had never heard of before. Well yesterday, while flipping through one of my coffee table books (ok, so I keep it in the bathroom)titled "Over Europe", there was a picture of a seaport town in Wales where the tide had run out and there were all those sailboats, sitting high and dry on their bilge keels and rudders, every one of them had a bilge keel.........ya learn something new every day!

I still think "double keel" or "dual keel" would be much better names!
