What's the best way to remove chalk on boot stripe? I think it's from the gelcoat oxidation......... Looks terrible!

I'll be watching the post for other suggestions...
I went through the process with some "3M" products. Start with a rotary buffer and (1)"Heavy Duty Rubbing" compound... then go to (2)"Finnesse"... then go to (3)"Mico polish???" and you will be good to go. Follow the destructions on the plastic bottle... DON'T PUT ON IN THE SUN. You will have to finish with a wax of your choice for the whole boat. I have gone through the above 3M products on my Hobie Cat... and it worked great... looked just like new. Happy buffing, Rich
