I have a pair of short (6in.) Gill Ocean boots. They Keep my feet dry, but are not very comfortable on long races of more than a day. I tried on my friends Dubarry ocean boots and fell in love with them. Comfort, dry, great looks, and did I say comfortable?? They are the BEST boots I have ever worn. They are however expensive.I have always followed the rule, you get what you pay for. You can buy $20 rubber fishing boots, $50 sailing bost, or $300 boots. It depends on what you value more....keeping your money in your pocket or having quality equiptment.
