On the back edge of my boats centerboard there is about a 3" chunk missing. Now that I have the board home and looking close at it I now wonder if this chunk is just bigger than what might be a "L" shape notch needed for something up in the top part of the well. Has ayone else's 222 have a notch about 12 to 14" up from where the pendant is attached? I removed the board to make a repair this winter.
