Over the weekend we took our newly acquired Beneteau First 32s5 out for a sail. During our maiden voyage I went below to find traces water over the floor boards. The bilge was dry when we departed and the worst case scenario went through my head as I quickly lifted all the floor boards in the main cabin to find the source of the incoming water. The bilge was pumped dry and I remained below looking for water. I found when we were hard pressed on port tack water was coming in thru the manual bilge pump hose. Has anyone seen this before? What needs to be done to prevent this from happening in the future? (apart from keeping the boat more upright when sailing).
