I just wanted to reach out and thank everyone for their help this winter, spring and summer.
Some by answering my questions directly and some by asking my questions weeks, months and years before I knew I had them!
I also want to extend a very special thanks to Stu Jackson. I tackled a complete rewire of my Catalina 30 over the winter with absolutely no prior experience. Stu took me step by step through the process. Never just giving me the answers, always showing me the way and MAKING me figure it out and understanding it before moving on. Without you Stu, the process wouldn't have gone as smoothly nor as flawlessly as it did!
I had a great first summer on my boat here in Rochester, NY on Lake Ontario. Watching the Air Show, our annual 4th fire works, standing to as the local Yacht Clubs held their regattas, my first midnight cruise with a full moon and many MANY days of fair and rough sailing...and you know I just loved the rough ones! Who knew I could handle 7' seas single handed?
I learned everytime I went out, made mistakes, made discoveries and made plans for more improvements!
I have a week or two left before they take her out and the continued quest to remodel, retweak and redesign will occupy my winter nights. I can hardly wait!
The first time I saw her! If you don't think that rope holding the cradle together and the gravel didn't make me nervous! I was petrified go inside for a peek!
My wife Pam and I earlier in the spring.
Again, my thanks to all!
Chris
