I just returned from my boat where, among other things, I met Stu, who spent at least a couple of hours with me going over my electric system, explaining different aspects of it, what upgrades would accomplish what, what steps I should take next. Most (although not all) sailors I've met are pretty helpful, but Stu's helpfulness is certainly above and beyond the call of duty - this in addition to his wealth of knowledge and patience and ability to explain technical questions.

He is a credit to his race -- the human race! I will try to repay him either personally, or to somebody else who I can help.

Thanks again, Stu.

I don't know Stu Jackson from Adam

But his replies here seem to be always on the mark, concise and good. He must be even better in person.
Glad you two got to meet.

Agree!

I consider myself inept when it comes to electrical anything. All I knew was the boat I just bought had 2 batteries and I thought I was all set because they were new! I learned from reading this forum that 2 group 24 (65AH) batteries weren't getting me too far. Stu was more than helpful in his explanations and knowledge. Just read his posts and you can see what kind of a person he is. A gentleman for sure.
Thank you Stu.
