Peggy et al,
Thanks very much for your help regarding the odor coming from the head compartment of my boat. While it may be a little early to celebrate, after a month of converting to freshwater intake, flushing the holding tank numerous times, adding a half a dozen odorlos packages and being frustrated with the results, I have finally opened the head door and smelled nothing but fiberglass. -Thank-you
The very last thing I did was to pour some odorlos down the sink drain and through the intake line, left enough to keep the lines filled with the solution and some in the bowl and holding tank for a couple of days. I still get some loose marine particulate coming from the intake line or toilet bowl rim but it's much less and odorless at the moment.
I was at my wits end and seriously contemplating an entire head and hose replacement! Big hug and kiss for you!
cheers
Al
