I followed your buffing procedures step by step and have succesfully completed the sanding, compounding and polishing of everything above the rub rail. Next is everything below. Having all the materials you recommended and the great instruction made it so much easier. The enclosed pics kinda suck but hopefully you get the idea. The gelcoat was very chalky before starting. Now it shines nicely.

Including my 33 year old Oday there are a lot more shiny sailboats in this world because of MS:theman:
