Well, I sold my 1987 H23 yesterday so won't be lurking here too much anymore. I want to thank all of you for al the info that has been posted, discussed, advised, etc. I have found it very helpful and even more importantly, quite entertaining. I especially want to thank all the "experts" of the H23 and I apologize in advance if I've left anyone out. Thanks especially go to Jon B., Mike B., Mike Epp (sorry I never made it out to your regattas), Jim K., Peter S., and Ward N. Of course, it goes without mention, thanks to Crazy Dave who is somewhere on the water, anywhere in the US. I have already told the new owner about this site and have encouraged him to jump right in. Moving on

Not sure what I'll be getting next. Main reason for selling the H23 was the lack of mooring and slip space in my area. (Yes, you can trailor the H23 but the ramps near me are in tidal areas meaning I cannot normally get the boat into / out of the water on the same day.) I figured that the boat belongs in the water and the person I sold it to has a mooring avaialble for it. In the next year or so, I'll put my other boat (a Grady White) up for sale and then parlay the monies form the sale of the two of them into a larger boat (28-34' size). Thanks again for everything. Keep on sailing along! Joel
