Hello VEGAtarians:

Just received my copy of the newsletter and was supprised and delighted
to see a picture of Putachiside in Port Browning last year. Also great
to read the experiences Laura had on her latest Pacific crossing as
well as the island aventures of Chuck and Laura...Seems like such great
fun eh? Diana and I are looking forward to seeing everyone again and
inviting all aboard on our oversized Vega...For those who
wonder...Putachieside is an Alberg 30 - #496, built in 1972 in Whitby
Ontario...we plan to put her in the shed this fall for a complete make
over...See you at the Rendezvous...

We've just completed more improvements to Lealea, finally got the electrics sorted out with a new panel and a good stereo system, came up with an interesting solution for my stern anchor and man overboard strobe too. We'll be trying it all out on our next inter-island trip. read all about it in the next "Fair Winds".Oh and BTW, I'll have a good story to tell at the Rendezvous d;^)
