I just got off the phone with Hunter Retail Parts and Technical Support, my experience with them has been fantastic. In a time when good customer service is hard to fine, I felt obligated to praise Hunter for doing an absolutely outstanding job. I phoned and within a week recieved a new custom machined bow roller. They have supplied cabinet latches, a new transom sugar scoop rub rail, just about anything I have needed. I have never had a problem talking to a human, a very nice one at that, that knows the boats. They know my Hunter better then I do. With the sugar scoop rub rail a fantastic technician walked me through the entire application (over the phone), what screws, what drill bit sizes, what glue, how much, secrets, etc., they let me speak to someone who had put several on and they spelled it out, I was absolutely blown away by how professional, nice, knowledgable, and incredibly helpfull they were. Had it not been for Hunter the rub rail job would have been a sure disaster, instead it was a breeze. Everytime I have called Hunter, which has been a lot because I am realatively new to boats and purchased a 1995 40.5 out of a charter fleet, the customer service has been absolutely the best I have experienced anywhere. I have been very impressed. To anyone buying a boat, I would consider a Hunter just based on this reason, and the fact that this web site has fantastic information. With Hunter and this Web Site, I am no longer overwhelmed by being a boat owner. And I am thankful, everytime I leave this website or get off the phone with Hunter, that I purchased a Hunter. Lastly, we loved our 1990 30 foot Hunter (cried the day we sold it) and we love (just a little more) our 1995 40.5. It is the neatest, funnest to sail, best laid out, best looking, easiest to care for, and best overall boat ever. We are having a blast sailing around the Carribbean with our 2 children, dog, and tons of family. We love Hunter. Thanks Hunter Owners and Thanks Hunter Marine for a great experience.

Hunter provides exceptional customer service. They stand behind their boats and work hard to please their customers. It is one big reason why we'll stay with Hunter when it's time to trade up.

My first boat was a Catalina and when I Started my research for my next boat I was between Catalina and Hunter. The cooperation with Greg at Hunter got me to purchase a 1990 H30 which I really enjoy. There continued help has made me a Hunter convert. Jim

David I agree with you, I have a 40.5 as well I call or visit Hunter for parts. Whether you call or pay them a visit you will find that your are very well look at either by Greg for info or Mike for parts.
