I just sent a note to the broker, along with a link to the video on youtube asking as much... :)

Heard back from the broker...

Yes it is the same boat. It was undamaged after the drops. It has been sitting for about. 15 years under cover. It is in amazing shape.

I'm going to go look at it tomorrow, just because I want to see the famous boat and see it for myself :)

Just got an email from the owner a few minutes ago...

Hi Brian,
Martin copied me on your correspondence. It is a famous boat and I have decided to take it back to California (I'm moving back). It is not possible to see at this time as it is all covered up. If you would like to. Check it out later when I'm getting ready to roll, I'll e-mail you and let you know.

I would think so. I'll contact the owner and see that it's still for sail and get what other info I can. Where are you located?
