Don, I have your book on sail trim and find it very helpful. In the book you mention not just leech tell tails but also luff tell tails for the mainsail.........is this correct? If so, how far back from the luff should they be as to not to be intefered with by "mast turbulance"

Timm: Actually, both myself and my wife just recently retired and we are enjoying every minute of our new found time. We have a second home in Lake Havasu, AZ, which we now use more than ever and we also bought a motor home so we are traveling all over the place. Life is so short, I have to enjoy it as much as I can because you never know. To all forum participants -I can always be reached by Email. If any lister have sail trim questions they might be embarressed to ask, (which is sad because there are no dumb questions when your new - or old - to sailing), they can reach me at <yankee3223@juno.com>. I'll get back to them as soon as possable.
