I have read Peggys comments on Tecma and would prefer to install Tecma. Hoever, I don't think I have the 4" clearance under platform for short version. Anyone have experience with Jabsco DS series?

I don't think there's room in your boat for a Tecma...nor do I think it's appropriate choice for any sailboat under about 40'. It's an excellent choice for a trawler, but it draws too much power for a 34' sailboat...and the weight of any all china bowl & pedestal is likely to affect your boat's trim. IMO, the Raritan SeaEra is the best choice for a 34' sailboat. No...it doesn't look "like the one at home"...but nothing else on a sailboat does either. However, the pressurized flush water version is quieter than most household toilets...only draws 10 amps...uses only a .5 gal flush water...is LOT more durable than anything Jabsco makes...and costs < $400 if you know where to shop (i.e. anywhere BUT WM). Sea Era hose size
Thanks Peggy. Sea Era has 1 or 1-1/2 discharge. Stick with 1-1/2" or replace with 1" for less stagnant volume? I will reroute hoses anyway to reduce total runs from factory layout.

The only reason Raritan offers a 1" discharge for the SeaEra is because Jabsco uses a 1" discharge (the only mfr who does...the industry standard is 1.5"), and the SeaEra was designed to be an identical upgrade/replacement for the Jabsco 37010 series toilets...even the mounting bolt patterns match. Raritan only offers a 1" discharge as an alternative to make it unnecessary for those who are replacing a Jabsco toilet to replace the discharge hose.
