I recently purchased a 1987 Hunter 23. The coat is in very good shape but the teak is a little bit dull. Since I need to wait a few more months before I get her back out on the water, I was wondering if people would recommend removing the teak from the boat to refinish it. It appears to be screwed on and epoxied in place. I could work on the teak while it's onthe boat but it just appeared that it would be simpler if I removed it. Thoughts?
