After spending some time cleaning the interior with soap and water I would like to put some sort of protection on the wood work. Anyone used Butchers Wax? What is the concensus of the group? I don't want to varnish or polyurethane. I just spent a weekend removing that from my friends boat. What a mess!

We clean our interior with Murphy's oil soap followed by Lemon oil. Keeps it looking great.

I've found boiled linseed oil to be as effective as teak oil and very cheap and easy to find.

I used teak oil on mine and it came out nice. I'm like you, I don't want a finish on mine that I have to sand and reapply.

With boiled Linseed oil, be careful that it has some UV protection. If the sun hits it can turn black.
