I have an 86 C30TRBS with the mainsail traveler bridge across the companion way. One of the many things that hurricane IVAN distroyed was the traveler. When the mast came down the track got way bent and one of the teak risers that the traveler mounted on was distroyed. Looking to upgrade to a harken traveler system but the aluminum risers that they sell cost $500+. Since only one of the teak risers is beyound repair I was wondering if anyone out there had a line on where I could find another...new or used (salvaged or otherwise). Any help would be appreciated. Looking for a fast solution as this repair process is dragging on. Tim

Risers

Try Garhauer Marine I replaced my travler for around $ 400.00 (2000) and that included the risers.909-985-9993 or garhauermarine.com

Go with Garhauer

The teak risers were for the curved traveler track. A Harken travler and track won't fit onto these risers because the tops of the towers are sloped up towards the center of the boat, and the Harken track is straight. Do yourself a favor and buy the Garhauer traveler /track / tower combination. Due to the short distance between the travler track and the mainsheet exerts a lot more pressure on the travler car / track than you would expect based on the size of the mainsail, and the Garhauer equipment is VERY robust.
