The admiral and I have finally bit the bullet. We have pulled both bulkheads out of 'Wysperin Wind' and have discovered what I had long suspected - they need to be replaced. They were the originals, and leaks and such has taken their toll.

I called a marine plywood supplier (after an internet search) in Charleston - and he advised me that he has a couple of sheets of Burmese teak two sided 1/2 inch plywood for the low low price of $245.00 each. Now that's a bit more than I had in my pocket at the moment. I did a further search and found a product called hydrotech that is much cheaper than the teak, but I cannot find it other than on the west coast.

Anybody got any suggestions?

Teak marine plywood source

Looking for teak plywood? Why not the source for many of the big name suppliers. Located in the middle of nowhere, South Carolina is the company that supplies many of the big names and will supply you.

See link.
