Teak oil and pine

Does anyone know how well teak oil will work as an exterior treatment for white pine?

I've used boiled linseed oil, which is similar to teak oil, on oak and cypress. The oak was on the fireplace mantle, but the cypress was outside. I suppose it weathered similarly to the teak on my boat that is treated the same. If I had to guess, the pine would soak up more oil and probably need to be retreated sooner than something dense like teak.

White Pine is not good for exterior use, if you must, make sure to seal 6 sides completely.
