I know, an oldie but a goodie.... I've read archives regarding the teak handrail removal. My question now is when reinstalling, will the nuts between the deck and the liner still be in place when I go back to re-screw in the rails? If so, how? Since removing the liner isn't an option, will I be running into trouble? This is regarding a 1983 27' Thanks for any help out there. Kevin O'Neal

Very good question. Replacing the hand rails on my 1979 H33'is one of the dozen tasks on my to do list. I'd also like to read some response.

No nuts.

Have you removed a bung and a screw yet? Take one out if not. I think you will find that it is just a long wood screw. If it turns out to be a machine screw then please repost. I think it would be the first Cherubini with bolted on handrails. There is lots of information in the Forum Archives about the right way to reinstall. But it might not apply if you really have bolts and nuts instead of screws.
