Pen boards
Jack, Bill is right. If you can get the plywood, you could build it yourself. The plywood looks good, but I'm not too keen on using it because the edge of the plywood sometimes gets banged up and splinters, and the end grain needs to be sealed or it can warp. A good cabinet maker can also build these pen boards out of any type of wood that you desire. He can add louvers or screen and make it up fancy. One of my friends has replaced most of his wood with Star-board on his Seaward 22. He told me that he hates wood because of the maintenance of it. I'm seriously thinking of building some new heavy duty pen boards for my boat. I've already added two Mahogany boards inside of my companionway hatch. My new pen board can fit against these two boards and give better security than the plywood pen boards that I have now.Joe
