I need a new cabin sole covering. It looks like a previous owner installed oak parquet flooring over the original cabin sole (what looks to be plywood with a hardwood veneer). Now the parquet is coming loose plus the plywood underneath is delaminating in several places. So . . . once I've scrape off the parquet and repaired/replaced the areas of plywood that need it, I want to install strip teak flooring. I have a friend who goes to Bali regularly and imports teak furniture. He's going to bring me back some unfinished solid teak t&g flooring at a pretty reasonable price. Anybody have any experience installing flooring? Any suggestions on what glue to use? Also, some that I have seen look like they have caulking between to allow for expansion and contraction. Any thoughts on caulking (to use or not to use, what type, etc.)?Thanks,Morrie
